A few days ago I posted in this very forum my thread: <The making of Time and Space>. It was a brief introduction to my theory, just words one might say and because of it, I suppose, nobody showed interest. Here and now, I am changing gear and passing on, some food for thought.

In order to be brief as the Forum’s unwritten law demands, I shall introduce at once the supporting pillar of my proposition: Time and Space are physically created by an electromagnetic process of expansion and/or extension to be identified, as I am now showing, with the existing electromagnetic spectrum. To register in the mind a radial concept, please think of the cone as a solid 1/8 of a sphere.

With figure 1 I am representing the electromagnetic spectrum. We have the vertex of the cone where a 1-metre wavelength houses a frequency of 300 million cycles per second (a lot of energy), and we have the directrix of the cone where the wavelength is now 300 million metres long and the frequency has come down to 1 cycle per second (the energy level is almost negligible). This would mean that the energy present at the origin (vertex) was spent in some way during the electromagnetic process for the creation of time lengths and for the creation of space lengths. The obvious question here should be: where would have the energy gone otherwise?

In point of fact, if we consider that to cover the entire distance of the electromagnetic spectrum we lose all those vibrations (cycles per second) we started off with, we may, by hypothesis, assume that for each and every energy step the amount of vibrations exiting it must be half the amount entering it. The other half being lost, or in some way utilized, through a mutual neutralizing (superposition) caused by interference of the out of phase expanding and/or extending waves. Further, the binding energy lost, or utilized, during the interaction provides more «elbow-room» in-between wavelengths; that is, the wavelengths become asymptotically long (longer and longer) at each interaction between electric and magnetic forces and fields up to, and not exceeding, the full expansion and/or extension.

Now, think fast, please. If Time and Space are made by a process and are a product of nature, they have to be made in small ascending bits (there is no other choice). Their unit measure would therefore be very tiny at the beginning (origin) and it would reach the full length (expansion in time and extension in space) at the end (1 second = 300 million metres), hence a gradation scale such as the shown spectrum to satisfy our two main requirements:

(1) the building up of the unit measure of time and space along the ascending scale; that is, the wavelength, and

(2) the required energy decrease along the ascending scale, energy needed for the build-up of the wavelength.

With this in mind, let me recall two physical aspects of nature which science is unable to unify. I am referring to the Unified Field Theory or Theory of Everything which was and is attempting to incorporate gravitation as portrayed by General Relativity with the Standard Model describing the quantum mechanical nature of the other three fundamental forces.

The persisting interest of Einstein and the pledge of others since the beginning of last century did not give any results; there hasn’t been a way to unify these two physical aspects of the universe. The four forces of nature, we may say, have remained the way they were and the theory of everything has itself remained more than ever elusive. In other words, science and scientists have given up the unified Newtonian conception of the universe and afterwards did not known how to find a new conception equally unified that would respond to those laws that must be rigidly scientific.

What we are seeing in figure 2 is applicable to a single atom, to free (optical) space or, if you want to, we may extend the physical concept to the entire universe. This we can do keeping in mind that free (optical) space is an expanding substance composed of infinitely many small pointlike electromagnetic point-sources of self-generating energy each having its own unsaturated sink with continuous absorption because of the constant and continuous expansion and/or extension (the wavelength proper of the process for the creation of time and/or space) . These point-sources must be considered inertial frames moving at the speed of light and consequently their slope is 1/c, or 3.335x10−11 centimetres per second. In addition to it, by extrapolation to cosmological size, we may think of an entire cluster of galaxies containing infinitely many electromagnetic point-sources and retaining the same dynamics of a single point-source.

Following this line of thought and thinking for a moment of the universe as a sphere, we have before our very eyes the two faces of the one and only identical reality; we have first a non-linear electromagnetic field which science calls gravitational field or, to take it the other way around, the field where the electromagnetic process for the creation of time and space is operative, when we move in the sense of the expansion and/or extension, that is: from the centre of the sphere towards the outer edge; and then we have a linear electromagnetic field that science calls radiative field when we move transverse to the expansion and/or extension and along any given wavelength, that is: forming a circle starting from any point along an imaginary radius vector to indicate the type of electromagnetic radiation we have chosen.

Just pointing out that my proposition finds strong support in the empirical evidence of:

(1) radiating energy in the gravitational field (non-linear field) where the energy itself is variable even though the speed remains constant throughout the energy steps, and

(2) radiating energy in the so-called electromagnetic field (linear field) where the energy as well as the speed are constant.

Stay with me please. The technical term electromagnetic spectrum is used to indicate the gradation scale of all electromagnetic radiations and their wide range in the form of electromagnetic vibrations. These vibrations start with an intensity of 300 million cycles per second, and conclusively, after one second, end up as an undulating line 300 million metres long. The gradation scale of this spectrum would then start at the vertex with cosmic rays (you would say gamma rays) and it would end up at the directrix of the cone with very long radio waves, as clearly shown in figure 1. These electromagnetic bands have different characteristics; that is, different amplitude, different frequency, different wavelength, and most importantly different energy. Their physical make-up is vastly different, and it’s different even from one energy step in to the next one. Why, then, the same speed? Is it because all radiations hence the radiative field is held at bay by the physical process of extension? If one comes to think of it, how can these electromagnetic signals move in the linear field, with nothing in front to guide them? Why there are no collisions amongst electromagnetic signals with different frequency, hence different energy? Is it because the linear space-path runs along an energy step belonging to the orthogonal gradation scale of the extension? With reference to the electromagnetic wave, I don’t think there is need to say that a wave travelling while retaining its form and its shape, the way we have inherited it, it never made sense. In the light of figure 2, one such a wave is downrightly paradoxical.

As a side comment, I may as well say that one day some exceptionally good mathematician will do one better than <The String Theory> excellent mathematicians and will put together gravitation to kiss and cuddle with the other three forces of nature. Most likely someone will do it, but he is not depicting reality, he is not painting from nature.

Back on track, this is then the universe in which we live. I should now underline that in order to explain the large scale behaviour we experience, the universe must be viewed in two distinct ways. In the sense of extension (non-linear, gravitational, or else extending field), the wave propagates with direction in space becoming longer up to, and not exceeding, the finite length of 300 million metres. This explains why at each energy level the wavelength is not the same and the waveform is not the same; and this also explains why along the extension there is no signal transfer, or telecommunication. On the other hand, when viewed transverse to the extension (linear field), the wave, due to the enormous amount of point-sources, may be considered to be “resident energy” and as such maintains the same length and the same form, and it is part, together with similar waves, of a telecommunication channel for any electromagnetic signal which, mark you, is the sole entity (in the linear field) that travels with direction in space.

To close the circle, I would like to associate this last remark of mine to the already discussed figure 2 and thus leave in the mind of all of us the key picture which is the supporting pillar of my proposition herein argued and now concluded.

Are you trying to say that gamma rays transform into radio waves and act like a spring that is expanding the universe? I don't think evergy waves work like that.

I did like when you said space radiates from atoms though. It reminded me of my own (unscientific) theory :)

I noted your remark and I think that your doubts are raised because you think of gamma rays coming at you as such. This is not the case. The mental picture that I have of the electromagnetic spectrum, which has the same workings as the visible spectrum only much wider, is that of continuity. This is clearly shown by the fact that some insects and animals can see through wavelengths outside the visible spectrum which is the region where the human eye can see. The honey bee, for example, can see through ultraviolet light wavelengths on the near side of the visible spectrum. Likewise many species of birds can see into the ultraviolet region of the spectrum; some of them even advertise their sex with plumage markings which can only be detected by ultraviolet light (300-400 nanometers). Another typical example is the Australian parrot Budgerigar nicknamed Budgie whose fluorescent plumage under the ultraviolet light riches maximum intensity during the time of courtship. On the opposite side of the visible spectrum, for example, the pit-viper can see in the dark because she has infra-red detectors.

Other examples of continuity of the electromagnetic spectrum are man-made gadgets such as counterfeit detection devices in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum, and again on the opposite side of the visible spectrum the infrared region is used as a detection device by police and security applications and by the military for ordinary vehicles, ships, and air crafts.

I let my mind wander a bit because I wanted to tell you that although Science, modern or otherwise, never considered cosmic rays as part of the electromagnetic spectrum, I do. As a matter of fact, I put cosmic rays right at the vertex of the cone followed by gamma rays, X-rays and so forth. To be more precise, and in line with my theory, cosmic rays are emitted from the core of the nucleus or thereabout. They are never to be seen outside of it and because of their high energy it is impossible to bridle them. Gamma rays are emitted within the external area of the nucleus or thereabout. Some less energetic gamma rays may originate from the area just outside of the nucleus and since, in the process of expansion, have lost some energy, they can be put under control. X-rays are well outside the nucleus and within the electron reach.

From all this, one may deduce that a given train of vibrations classified under the cosmic rays range of frequencies after a split second becomes a gamma rays train of vibrations and after another split second becomes an X-rays train of vibrations. Further, the same train of vibrations belonging to the cosmic rays range of frequencies after one second of the clock has become, at the end of the expansion and/or extension (directrix of the cone), an undulated line 300 million metres long. To answer your question: yes, every single vibration starts as a cosmic rays vibration, expands/extends through all the regions or bands of the electromagnetic spectrum and it ends up as an undulated line 300 million metres long to be added to the already unbelievable size of the universe. 36grit, maybe I lost you, if I did I apologise.
