I knew it! I knew it! From the book "The War On Kids"!

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! Basic Schooling was modeled originally for military use to make better soldiers, so they wouldn't questions orders. Then the school model was used in factory settings, and finally as one room classrooms in 1/2 day sessions, and you know the rest.

I was watching The Colbert Report and between jokes and jests from Colbert, the author of the book "The war on Kids" managed to convey some interesting facts.

I've wondered why we haven't changed it to be more optimal for conveying information.
