i have been using the astronomy program "distant suns 4" for quite some time now. i recently found out that there is a newer version with updated software and larger star database. my question is... has anyone here used both? and can you offer a comparison? what else does ds5 offer that ds4 does not?

I can only say that I've heard good things about it, haven't tried it myself. I own Starry Night Pro 4 which I think is rather excellent, but I don't know how they compare. Starry Night has a tendency to crash even on a high-end machine.
