Is anyone here familiar with the theories and applications of Positive Psychology? It is an interesting field. I am debating whether or not to pursue a Masters in it.

As a longtime practicing psychologist with a focus on transpersonal psychology, I say go for it.
Positive Psychology seems like a new label for TP, though that latter is primarily focused on the transcendence of personal programs (spirituality) while that focus is one of many in PP.
TP goes the next step beyond Maslow's self actualization... to transcendece of "self" in union with universal consciousness.
Check out my (now locked) thread on TP.
