The biggest problem i have with all this is, can i really look at the universe, study it, or do anything at all? If i look at a puddle , i can study it . do something with it, examine it etc... but with the universe its not the same... can i ericate myself from he universe/ or am i part of it? ... if the universe is infinite, can infinity be broken up into parts ( me being one of them) ? if i am seperate i can indeed study it... but ifim not then im merely studying myself or wat i already am...arggghh...as for theories it really annoys me... it seems everyones got a theory... we dont have a theory when were hungry or want sex or get angry...we have the reality then... but in the absence of answers(if there are any) we make up lots of theories Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How we see evidence usually will decide on the format of the model. We are at the early stages of learning about the universe and in so doing we will have many different models. Currently the standard model is the BBT. Yet other models are coming out of the woodwork in light of new evidence and observations. The person who gave me the private message should have posted here.
