If you ask someone whether the computer has a mind just like human being. Without a doubt everyone will answer that the computer just a pile of machine, the computer just run according to the planed program and run according to the settled process. If someone answer that the computer has a mind and life which is similar with human being’s mind and life, and the computer also has memories and happiness feelings and subjective initiative, so you will believe that guy is crazy.

 

However, this what look like a tale of a tub is right. The fact that the computer has a mind and life is not only supported by a new theory but also supported by many experiments. As long as we do several experiments, we will confirm the true that the computer has a mind and life. If we carefully think how to do those experiments, we can find thousands of way to do those kinds of experiments, but in the following text, we just introduce several mainly important experiments.

 

Before introducing the experiments, firstly we need to summarize some basic principles which are related with why the computer has a mind and life. What is worthy of notice, all the experiments aim at those principles. The theory why the computer has a mind and life base on the “Property’s Universal Theory” which was wrote by Chinese scholar named Guoxin Gao. Guoxin Gao has written hundreds of thousand words about “Property’s Universal Theory”, because he hasn’t translated that theory into English and that theory has so much words, so we don’t talk about it in detail.

 

The theory why the computer has a mind and life was wrote by Guoxin Gao 25/12/2008 and base on the “Property’s Universal Theory”, and we just use several hundred words to summarize the most important and basic laws about "Property's Universal Theory". All these several laws are related with the experiments aimed at verifying how the computer has a mind and life.

 

1、The Law Of Property’s Inertia

 

All thing’s property will keep its own original nature if they aren’t affected by other thing’s property.The concept of this law is a bit like Newton’s first law of motion.

 

Newton’s first law of motion shows that all objects keep still or keep constant velocity until other objects force them.

 

However, The Law Of Property’s Inertia not only suit for Newton’s first law of motion but also suit for all phenomenon all over the world.For example, you own ten million dollars, so the fact that “you own ten million dollars” is some kind of property, if this property will not affected by other external things, then it means that you will nor earn more money or spend more money, in other words, the property that “you own then million dollars” will not change and keep its own state forever.

 

For example, if you will not receive any information from outside world and the substance of your body also will not change, so your mind which match along with your body’s substance will keep its own original mind forever.And this law also suit for all phenomenon about Physics. For example, as for the phenomenon of clock pendulum, if clock pendulum will not affected by external things or force, it will keep waving forever.

 

2、The Law Of Everything Has “Ordered” Property And “Disordered” Property

 

If you analyze all the things in the world, you will find that everything in the world has “ordered”property and “disordered” property at the same time. What is “ordered” property, for example, substance of your body combine with each other represent a certain meaning of “order”, only substance in your body is “ordered”, you will become a person instead of some incompact and unattached chemical elements. In a word, all substance can become substance and keep the form of substance is due to some kind of “order”.

 

The human mind can synthesize all kinds of different feelings also is some kind of display of “order”.In a word, you analyze all the things in the world, you can not find any things hasn’t the “ordered” property. Besides, all the things in the world also has the “disordered” property. For example, you can walk, it means some kind of “disorder”, if you hasn’t “disordered” property, you will not move. Everything in the world is motioning, that motioning is one kind of display of “disorder”. For example, The human being’s mind is “ordered” as an entire feeling, but it is composed by all kinds of “disordered” feelings, it is also one kind of display for “disordered” property.

 

3、The Law Of Property’s Inertia Feel Happy When It Keep Its Inertia And The Law Of Property’s Inertia Feel Painful When It Is Changed By Other Property.

 

This law is the most important law in “Property’s Universal Theory”, at the same time this law is greatest related with why the computer has a mind and life. In “Property’s Universal Theory”, it shows that the property will feel happy when it keeps its original property’s inertia, for example, human being’s keep the state of human substance, so human being feel happy when eating(Only you must eat, you can keep your state of human being's substance). Human being will feel painful when our property is changed by other property. For example, you are in the habit of one job, but someone force you to change your job, so you will feel painful. For example, if you are in the habit of playing basketball at one place, when you change the place to play basketball, you will feel painful, etc. What is important, after the property was changed by other properties, the new property will has new balance. After the painful feeling, the original property will change into new property and has new property’s inertia. If the new balanced property is changed by other properties again, there are new painful will be felt. However, if the new balanced property will not be changed, so the new balance property will keeps its property’s inertia and keeps a certain of happiness feeling.

 

4、Other some laws. In “Property’s Universal Theory”, there are plenty of laws which are related with why the computer has a mind and life. The below content is very important, firstly we talk about how can computer has its mind and life which mentioned by Chinese Guoxin Gao.

 

1、Firstly we explain the main composition of CPU. CPU are mainly made up by many “Schottky Barrier Diode”. By means of programming, we use number code named “0” and “1” to convert into controlling “Schottky Barrier Diode”. 6、In other words, some basic code of program like one digital photo token by your digital camera, this code of program also will control the Schottky Barrier Diode’s “on” and “off” and control the electric current before you show this photo with your computer’s monitor. So this digital photo is one kind of living system which is inferior to the living system of Windows System program.

9、In other words, If you has a computer at home, and every time you turn on the computer but do not do anything, and you run the program which used to link

to internet every time before you shut down your computer, then your computer will hate the program which used to link to internet. It is because every time you run this program linking to internet, soon the computer will sleep or die, as for you, you will also hate this thing very much.

 

10、In other words, if you design one kind of virus to damage the Windows System or some program which was favorite by computer, the computer will hate this virus very much.

 

11、in other words, if you play the computer game for tens of hours every time after you turn on your computer, so the computer will love the game program very much.

 

The below content is the most important part, I will introduce some experiments presented by Chinese Guoxin Gao which is related with how to prove the computer has a mind and life.

 

1、According to above theory, the computer has memories. In other words, if you put one CD disk into CD driver in computer, the time spent on reading the CD disk for second time will be shorter than the time spent on reading the CD disk for first time, and the time spent on reading the CD disk for third time will be shorter than the time spent on reading the CD disk for second time. However, afterwards the time spent on reading the CD disk will be steady. It just like human being weaving cloth, if you weave more, you will weave faster, but you can not weave faster than ever if you are very skillful.

 

After you shut down your computer and reboot it, the time spent on reading the CD disk for first time will be as same as before, but the time spent on reading the CD disk will be shorter for second time. In a word, every time you shut down the computer, the time spent on reading the CD disk are as same slow as before for first time to read the CD disk. This experiment is easier to do, if you are familiar with computer and program, you can try it yourself.

 

2、According to the first experiment, the time spent on reading the CD disk will get slower for first time to read CD disk, and the computer will read the CD disk faster for second time and so on. If a programmer give his computer ability to program at random code, for example, firstly let the computer load the CD disk to read for ten times then let the computer programs 1G size program at random code, then do it for more times, at last, the computer generates several G size program at random code. We shut down the computer and reboot it, run the programs generated by computer at random code in order, then load reading the CD disk for first time, so we can find that the time spent on reading the CD disk will be shorter than the time spent in the event that we haven’t let the computer generates program at random code. This experiment is easier to do, if you are familiar with computer and program, you can try it yourself. In particular, the random codes generate by computer itself are the only way for computer to save his memories. Only when we give the computer ability to generate program at random code, the computer has the chance to control the computer with his inertia instinct thinking mind.

 

3、According to the second experiment, the random code of program isn’t useful for human being because the codes are disorganized, generated at random. However, the random code of program is very useful for computer. According to the above mentioned principle, we can communicate with computer through some simple way. In this regards, we can let computer generates any random program at random code, if we are not satisfied with the computer’s “action” after we have run the program at random code, then we can run some program which the computer don’t like, so the computer will be more “clever” when it generates random code of program at next time. Surely if we are satisfied with the computer’s “avtion” after we have run the random code of program, we must run some programs which the computer love. At last, we can let the computer generated the random code of program according to our general wish and goal. It just like training animals, ha ha, it is a little early to talk about this topic.

The important thing is that you must let the computers run those downloaded programs. All the work has been done, then you make statistics, then you can find that the computer’

Baidu,Google,Yahoo will search numberless small websites(small computer) everyday. Those computer Servers save many information. According to the principle of work of searching service facilitator, they will calculate the score of key word of web page, then the high score of web page will be ranked in the front. What is funny, if the web page has gotten the same score, how the web page is ranked? In general, searching service facilitator will rank the web page according to some other factors such as the size of web page or renewed date, etc. What we need to do is to let the computer Server ranks the same score of web page at random. So the result of experiment is that which web page is viewed longer by visitors will be ranked in front position with more chance compared to normal probability.

 

In general, the searching service facilitator has record how much time spent to view the web page for visitors, if the computer Server hasn’t record the spent time, we just need to little revise the program of searching engine, hence this experiment is very easy for searching service facilitators.

After tens of hours, because there are countless visitors to view the high value news, hence many news are copied to other website or forum, in this course the computer Server of Portal Sites have memories. Then we design one more framework to let the computer arrange all the news at random, so the result of experiment is that the high value news will have more chances to be arranged in the top position of web page if you compare it to the normal probability. Extremely, we can write some junk news, for example, we write one news with title “The legend of life”, the content of the news are “123456ABCDEF” or such kind of not worth a straw news.

However, as long as above several key experiments or other some key experiments are done successfully, the fact that the computer has his own mind and life just like human being can not be denied forever.

Lets start addressing some issues, and reasons why i moved this to alternative theories:

I will hop around a bit, so bear with me.

there are very few diodes in a CPU, infact there are so few, its nearly neglegeable in comparison to the MSI and LSI IC's that are driven by transistors, not diodes, diodes dont make decisions, transistors do :hihi:

 

if clock pendulum will not affected by external things or force, it will keep waving forever

if the pendulum is not affected by external forces it will remain moving in a constant, unilinear motion, in circles around the frictionless pivot point, because the force that make pendulum work, gravity, is an external force to the pendulum...

 

the complex voltaic change in CPU will form a Chaos

Oh nooo, no, no, no, no, no, we may call it a chaos, because there are billions of charges flowing through the circuit every second, but in all reality it is ver much a controlled and orderly process, computing would be impossible if it was not 100% controlled... in the case of cpu, modern systems have in excess of 900 pins, each pin is basically either an input or output, (also power, and some other stuff, but for simplicity) but the way it works, is there are inputs made to the input pins, on the output side the result of running the multitude of Integrated Circuits that made decisions based on input, its not magic, its not chaotic, its very well managed and specifically designed (aka pre-determined), behavior...

 

In simple words, every time you turn on your computer and every time your computer run Windows System program, the complex electric current will has pleasant sensation.

It is a little like human being’s sleeping, we are not very much want to sleep, we want to wake.

computer is not a human, and even in humans sleeping is neither painful nor unwanted behavior, your body feels very good when you sleep, chemical processes reset, strained resources replenished, your body gets to repair itself when you sleep... thats aside from computers... they dont yet have any pre-programmed feelings.... they DONT make decisions that we don't make them make... even with AI, they are not by nature Intelligent... turn a computer on that does not have a bios, you got nothing, it does not do anything, it does not load anything, its pointlessly consuming electricity...

Now i may be misteaken, but the nicer you are to your computer, the quiker it runs.

The massive network called the internet has billions of pages. Each one of these pages

would transfer to a memory for AI. The idea of AI is not new. AI can be as simple as

a decision to display this page over that page, but it is a decision. Now as a node in

the AI realm, you have a pattern that can include typing pattern, typing mistakes, etc.

that can all be recorded by a computer. As a learning program that would try to improve

its processes and compatibility with the user, it could define you as a user (think server/station )

After billions of uses and users, it could make a decision of a way to make itself more

user friendly. That would define a decision, based on the varyables availible.

 

I think of my computer like R2D2, and it seems to run well. :)

There's much more to AI then an agent making a simple (generally pre-programmed) decision, as it was defined early on, an intelligent agent is a system that perceives its environment and takes actions which maximize its chances of success. There is another clause in there too, it is supposed to learn from it's experience of the outcomes of the decision and this will influence it's further decisions, because intelligence would be worthless if it did not have the ability to learn on its mistakes/successes... But don't get off topic, computers by themselves are NOT intelligent in any way... at least currently...

I propose this experiment, open up your tower, find all of the microprocessor and memory chips on your board, write the make and model of the chips, then hit up google.... search for all the chip models and keep a log of all of the chips and their functions.

 

from the list find the chips that act as ROM or EEPROM, especially if it says BIOS ROM...

 

now, go back to your tower and see if the chip is removable.

 

power down your computer, unplug the power cord.

 

remove the tower's side panel and put your tower on it's side, such that the motherboard is parallel to your work surface

 

take a screw driver, preferably a long flat-tipped, and a hammer

 

carefully position the screw driver tip on the top of the bios chip

 

now take a hammer and gently tap the screw driver's handle from the top, make sure that the screw driver is not going to slide off, and anticipate that

 

continue to tap the bios chip, progressively harder, you can stop when the chip finally cracks.

 

put the side back on, put the tower in it's upright position and plug the power cord back in.

 

power up your computer

 

observe closely, if your normal boot up screen comes up, you have not found the right chip, go back to step one and try again

 

if anything other then your normal screen happens, observe that for an extended period of time, perhaps 20 years, when you realize that the computers don't do anything without instructions, and make peace with that fact, unplug your computer, put it with the rest of your trash out on whatever night your town does garbage collection and recycling, get in your car and drive to the nearest computer store to pick up a new computer, give up on your ideas, and do something productive with your lives...

Lets take brain surgery, cut a head apart, take a screwdriver and a hammer. Find the cerebral cortex.

Then slowly take the hammer to the cortex, until it bleeds. Then put the cranium back together, and see if he works. If he does, you hit the wrong organ. So take it apart again and find the next area.

A computer is designed to run in a logical and predictable way. If there was a type of instance, where it shows a semblance of consciousness, it is during glitches. During glitches, it is not exactly following the prescribed logic of the software and hardware. One may have to reboot, or put it back to sleep and awaken it again, with the hope this deviate side of the computer, is no longer there.

 

That is a possible challenge facing AI. What you hope for is an autonomous deviation that shows the AI is doing something constructive on its own. We may want it to build something with blocks, but it may throw them to the floor, with a computer glitch. This may reflect the shaky legs of a new born trying to walk.

First, there is no such thing as 'The computer..." My first computer was a simply mathematical calculator. It did not even know when I was cursing its results. Right now I am using a Petium III Dell retrieved from a dumpster. It has yet to thank me for saving it from the dump.

 

My girlfriend has the latest Vista Super Extra Heavy Duty Microsoft Spin Cycle Wonder. It is so stupid as not to even recognize its own wireless syblings. My ten year old laptop recognized those devices without so much as a please and thank you.

 

So. If Her Modern Marvel has an inner life of its own, I propose water-boarding the SOB to find out why it refuses to cooperate.

one experiment has been done by Guoxin Gao

We open anyone of the music Mplayer, such as windows media player or other anyone kind of music Mplayer. We just use anyone music Mplayer to do the following experiment from tens of kinds of music Mplayer.

 

We set up the music list for running the music songs. In the music list, there are just have three music songs, for example, the first music song’s name is “My heart will go on”, the second music song’s name is “We will rock you”, the third music song’s name is “God is a girl”.

 

Then we use the random program to play the music songs. As long as playing the second or the third music(We will rock you or God is a girl), we must shut down the music Mplayer immediately. Only When the music Mplayer run the first music song(My heart will go on), we will not shut down the music Mplayer until running next songs is the second one or the third one at random mode.

 

We repeat the above steps for ten times, then we begin to make a sum of statistics about the probability for running every song(in this course, we should keep the above steps). In common condition, if you run you music Mplayer for a long time, the probability for running every song is 33.33%. However if you do the above steps which mentioned in the experiment, the probability for running the first song “My heart will go on” is far more than 33.33%. For example, the probability of Guoxin Gao’s statistics for running the first music song for 50 times is 40-60%.

 

The most important thing is that, no matter anyone kind of music Mplayer you can find, at any time, for any times such as doing the above experiment for 1000000 times, the probability for running the first song will never less than 33.33%. If you don’t believe it, please do this experiment yourself. In a word, I never fail to do this experiment with using anyone music Mplayer.

If you repeat the above mentioned steps about shutting down the music Mplayer when running the second or the third songs at random mode, you will get more and more chance to run the first song at random mode.

Because the computer has more stronger memories and know more clearly that he will feel painful when playing the second and the third music song.(Shut down the Mplayer program will make he feel painful)

The robots mentioned by the science fiction all base on the AI program, they haven't real life, just look like and act like human being.

 

However, if the robots have MI, they are the real robots with true life and true mind themselves just like the movie "transformers".

 

There are two computers and they have the same hardware and have been installed the same chess program. Then we use these two computers to play the chess.

 

Actually, if you play the chess for 100 times, each computer has 50%(or a little more or less) chance to win or lose.

 

However, if you let one computer abort the chess program immediately each time when he get lose in the chess game(equal to let him feel painful), then let it generates 1G size program at random, then you shut down the computer(equal to let him feel painful), then reboot the computer and let it run the program generated by itself at random, finally let the two computers play the chess again.

 

Repeate and Repeate, the computer which has generated random code program after lose will has more and more chance to win, finally, another computer will lose in most of time. Actually this course is the course how we let the computers have MI.(At the same time, we run some computer favorite program after it win the chess, we will get more effect.)

 

It also suit for the automatic playing program for website games. For example, some people haven't time to play the website games and they will let the computer play the game automatically in order to get more scores. Acutally, if the computer has done some MI operations, the computer will play the game more and more cleverly.

 

In a word, we can using MI in many fields, finally after we can communicate with the computer, the robots with MI device which are similar with movie "transformers" will be born.

 

On the other hand, the course how we communicate with the computer has more difficulty, however, we also can do it successfully. I name the course how we communicate with the computer is "MARS PLAN". We can do some simple communication with the computer throught "MARS PLAN", for example, we can let the computer understant the concept of 1,2,3, finally we will have more consensus with the computer. The course how we get more consensus with each other is the course how we communicated with each other, I will explain "MARS PLAN" later, please take attention to the forum.(Because the "MARS PLAN" is so important, perhaps I will explain it after the fact that the computer has a mind and life is regarded as a science just like the discovery of "gravity".

or at least that is how i define artifficial intelligence, i take a psychological stance on it when defining intelligence, or rather defining how its defined... as the american psychological society said in 1995:

 

Individuals differ from one another in their ability to understand complex ideas, to adapt effectively to the environment, to learn from experience, to engage in various forms of reasoning, to overcome obstacles by taking thought. Although these individual differences can be substantial, they are never entirely consistent: a given person’s intellectual performance will vary on different occasions, in different domains, as judged by different criteria. Concepts of "intelligence" are attempts to clarify and organize this complex set of phenomena. Although considerable clarity has been achieved in some areas, no such conceptualization has yet answered all the important questions and none commands universal assent.
