OMG! HOW did we forget Tormod! Thanks OpenMind! A moment for EVERYONE here with "editor", "moderator", "administrator", "dev team" or "weirdo" in their titles!

And before we make the same mistake twice: here's a special "take a moment" for "the wife": Without Yvonne's patience *none* of this would be possible....

Huzzah!

I am sitting her with a bunch of friends, and they all have a request for a moment.

Request one: For the Celts, ancestors of the UK clans and the inventors of the kilts and GOOD DRINKIN'!!!!!!!

Request two: To the irish for thir love of poetry and music. (and drinkin' :o)

Request three: TO take a moment for all loyal and loving dogs.

Request four: To all the friends that one leaves behind to go to college.

Request five: For all those who are willing to go outside the box, open their mind, and are not scared to think. For it is in them that all of our future, hope and faith go into.

Thanks,

Cheers,

Woot Woot!

How about a moment for the number zero? It only joined the rest of the numbers around 200 A.D. so it is basically a youngster compared to the rest. Try to think of what math would be like without it. How would you represent those enormous quantities without all of those trailing zeros? How would you represent those extremely small quantities without all of those leading zeros? Our life in science would really be quite different without it.
