Invisibility (adaptive camouflage) and Holodeck (immersion) technology = M-theory:

Before I begin I would like to know if postings of personal webpages are allowed in this forum?

I have ideas that may be of interest both in the fields of adaptive camouflage/immersion technologies and to string theorists,particularly M-theorists, alike.

 

I have many linked webpages that go into detail about every aspect of my discoveries, a few of which I believe may be of good use in explaining my ideas and concepts in here.

 

If someone could tell me if I should go ahead and post my webpages i'd really appreciate it.

and a part from that I believe it's good to post these sites, but explainig already in the post what you want to and to show....

I'm new to posting in here so I wasn't sure of the rules.

 

First, before I post my webpages I have to point out that my webpages go down at times but for no more than an hour at a time. This is due to my uploading of a lot of pics and diagrams needed to fully explain my work into the free version of Yahoo Geocities web hosting service. When you click to other linked pages on my filespace it seems to strain the uptime and if you click too much a window will pop up saying that my webpages have gone down but will be back up within an hour and to check back then.

So if any of my pages interest you and it goes down, just save the last page you get to to a favorite's list and check back on it in an hour. It should be back up by then.

You're welcome. That is one very interesting page. I had a hard time reading the dark text on the dark backgrounds, but the photos were great. I'll try to find my 3D glasses - I know I have some at work.

No, though i've seen that press release sometime before and it is listed on my webpage where I reference the work of other people in the field of adaptive camouflage/immersion technology:

His is the first two links on that page.

 

His "invisibility cloak" requires goggles to view because it is invisibility created by augmented reality. Also, his cloak seems to be made out of simple fabric draped over a person's body.

My idea of an invisible cloak would be more like a rigid suit of armour that maintains a record of it's position in space rather than the position of a certain fold of fabric to another in space.

 

There are other types of approaches to invisibility listed on that page as well if you'll scroll down it. They are all based upon using autostereoscopic lens covering a body inorder to send light thru from one side to another at all angles.

but instead of using a computer to know where light comes in at and figure where it should go out at, I have a more simple yet novel approach.Something I call Light-Interfacing.

I have been investigating this subject myself and figure this a good thread to start with

my post on the subject.

 

I have found out about a physicist, David Bohm. He is apparently the originator of the

concept of a holographic universe. I found a book of his written in 1980, "Wholeness

and the Implicate Order". I have just started so I can comment little, except that I am

fascinated by the thought and implication.

 

I have a conjecture that as it has been crystalizing for me has lead me to both David

Bohm and Roger Penrose on different occations.

 

Simplistically, I am considering the possibility of a bifurcation of realities. This splitting

occured early in the life of the universe (pre-hyperinflationary period) and may have been

the cause of it. This is what has fueled my study of composition algebras (Complex

for example). I have labeled them inner and out realities. Well David seems to call them

Implicate and Explicate. It was this that piqued my interest. This is also somewhat

similar to Roger Penroses ideat of twistors he makes use complex coordinates instead of

reals. One mode/reality is sumluminal (slower than light and is real and observable),

while the other mode/reality is superluminal (faster than light and complex and not

directly observable to the first mode/reality. This does not inherently disagree with SR.

I am curious about the idea though of a holographic concept and implications to causality.

I've seriously thought that if the topics in string theory, Roger Penrose's twistors for one,were considered through their "visible" and "invisible" aspects you could create a theory that would be compatable with M-theory.

Complex numbers exist in complex mathematical space which resides in a coordinate system where real and imaginary numbers intersect. Twistors seems to play out in a complex space as well as inbetween imaginary and real mathematical space.

 

What if "real" and "imaginary" where switched and replaced with the words "visible" and "invisible".

Fractals and cellular automata are both agents of a complex space and seem to give a digital or cellular reality to strings.

What if there was a general theory that included all agents of a complex space and give it the name Pixel Theory which would predict local events and an overall Theory of Visible/Invisibility that would relate these predictions to a more global connectedness?

Sort of like studying each of the shards of a broken holographic plate and seeing the whole inside the many.

 

My discovery of the geometry that makes something invisible is the exact inverse of the geometry that produces a holodeck-like full immersion scenery of the same enviroment if turned inside out.

An explicate and implicate ordering related to each other by a geometry that depicts them as exact inverse forms of the same thing.

What if you could find a parallel geometry between enfolded and unfolded aspects of reality?

Imagine not only being capable of sending light thru an object and coming out at the other side unaltered but also sending materials thru other materials or empty space at one boundary to come out at the other side unaltered. Invisibility for matter as well as light.

 

It has to tie in with string theory somehow, i'm sure of it!

 

Using autostereoscopic models of means inwhich to make an object invisible and applying certain key parts of that model to string theory and the holographic universe concept,not too much of a streach is it?
