Psychiatry

I sometimes feel there are as many forms of psychiatry as there are psychiatrists.

Here are two with very different backgrounds and approaches:-

Doctor Jeffrey Masson [14/12/2007]

Doctor Jeffrey Masson grew up in Los Angeles mixing with the elite of Hollywood. His parents were ardent followers of British mystic Paul Brunton and at Brunton's urging that Jeffrey went to Harvard to study Sanskrit.

Psychologist Dr Simonne Jameson [10/09/2007]

Dr Simonne Jameson has lived a few different lives - an art curator and critic, mother to five children, and most importantly to her, founding director of the Children's Rights Foundation. After surviving the horrific experience of being a young Jewish girl in occupied France, Simonne decided to study as a child psychologist and eventually went on to study under Carl Jung, one of the founders of psychoanalysis.
