Ummm... How do I become a Hypography mod or admin because I'm new.

I've only just joined somewhere in December 2006 and I don't understand many things for instance how to become a Moderator or Administrator on Hypography. So please explain to me how this works and when you can change your user level like admins and mods can because I was told by an admin (Chacmool) that after a certain number of posts you can!

Please answer

Bye! Gotta run!

I'm actually a mod, not an admin. :cup: As C1ay points out, your user level will change as your post number increases.

For every forum Ive ever been a member of, and there are loads.

I score:

0 for #1. Fairness

0 for #2. Patience

0 for #3. Consideration

0 for #4. Willingness to listen

-10 for #4. Suppressing one's ego

0 for #5. Understanding the rules of the forum

0 for #6. Being as friendly as others permit

and once again 0 for #7. And most of all: Don't appear too eager for the position

So, are you saying we should just go ahead and ban you now? While you may have no desire to be a mod in the future you will need to at least do better than a 0 in some of the above to remain a member.

And exactly how many posts are those:confused: because I don't think I can really post somewhere near two-thousand possts. Eventually I'll get there, but its actually a little hard to make two-THOUSAND posts!

Anyway Chacmool... sorry for the thing about me mixing you up as an admin and a mod.

By the way, just out of curiosity, what IS the difference between a Moderator and an Administrator???:really confused:

Gotta Run!!!,

Again,smartypant:

it's not the number of posts that counts I was an admin with less than 1000 posts.

As to the difference i a few wordsan admin can do everything (access to everywhere...even beyond the realms of virtuality :) ) while a mod has more restricted option, he/she can for example ban only in the forum they moderate...
